FAQs

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets for live events can be purchased online in advance on our website. If an event is not sold out, tickets may also be available at the door on the night of the show.  Movie tickets will be sold at the door.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. Digital tickets on your phone are accepted at the door.

When do doors open?

Doors typically open 90 minutes before showtime, unless otherwise noted on the event page.

Is seating assigned?

Shows are general admission. Capitol Hall features both seating and standing options on both the main floor and balcony available on a first-come basis.  There are fewer seats than there are available tickets, so get here early if you want to claim a seat.

Do you show movies as well as concerts?

Yes. Capitol Hall hosts both live music and film screenings, including second-run movies and special film events.

Do you serve alcohol, food, or drinks?

Draft, canned, and bottled beers, ciders, and seltzers are available.  Also, a range of non-alcoholic options are available.  Concessions are available.  Valid ID is required for alcohol purchases.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards, debit cards and cash.

Are shows all ages?

Most shows are all ages unless otherwise specified on the event listing.

Where can I park?

Free public parking is available throughout downtown Erwin within easy walking distance of Capitol Hall. Street parking and nearby public lots are typically available for events.

Are photos or videos allowed?

Casual photos are usually fine, but professional cameras, flash photography, and video recording may be restricted depending on the artist.

Is the venue accessible?

Capitol Hall provides accessible entry and seating accommodations. Please contact us in advance if you need assistance.

Is there a coat check?

Currently, Capitol Hall does not offer coat check.

What if a show is canceled or rescheduled?

If an event is canceled or rescheduled, ticket holders will be notified by the ticketing platform with refund or exchange options.

Can I leave and re-enter during a show?

No

What items are not allowed in Capitol Hall?

No firearms, contraband, illegal drugs, outside food or drink, oversized bags/purses or backpacks.
